Users

The Users tab lists everyone who can sign in to your project’s generated apps, and lets you create and manage their accounts directly.

ℹ️

These are end users of your generated apps — not your qRaptor team. For who can edit this qRaptor project itself, see Roles & permissions.

Each row shows the user’s name and email, their assigned role(s) (or “No roles”), department, job title, and status (Active/Disabled). System-provisioned accounts are tagged with a System or Telephony badge and can’t be disabled, password-reset, or removed — only edited. A Telephony account is the identity unrecognised callers get on one phone number; see Caller identity.

Creating a user

Click Create User. This creates the account directly — you set a password for the user yourself; it isn’t an email invite link.

  • Account: Username, Email, Password (12+ characters with uppercase, lowercase, a number, and a special character), Confirm Password, and at least one Role.
  • Personal Details (optional): First/Last Name, Phone, Organization, Department, Job Title, and Manager (picked from existing users).

💡

A user can hold more than one role — the Role field is a multi-select.

Managing a user

Open a user’s row menu for:

  • Edit User — change roles or personal details.
  • Disable User / Enable User — blocks sign-in without deleting the account.
  • Reset Password — set a new password for them.
  • Reset MFA — clears their authenticator app enrollment; they’ll set up a new one at next login.
  • Remove User — deletes the account entirely, with a confirmation step.

Common issues

  • Looking for an invite-link flow — there isn’t one; creating a user sets their password immediately, so share it with them directly (or have them reset it on first login).
  • Can’t disable, reset, or remove a user — System-tagged accounts (Telephony/System) only support editing, by design.
